So long sweet summer....

SUMMER,

You came just in the nick of time.
I was ready to have the two months off.
I wanted to vacation, swim and enjoy the sun.

Now I have participated in all of these things.
You must leave.
And with you must go....
THE HEAT!
Please take it with you. You leave in a couple of days.
Autumn will take your place.
Leaves will change.
Pumpkins will start to appear.
And I will hopefully not sweat from taking two steps outside.

Don't get me wrong. I will miss lots of things about you.
But you do have a side that likes to perk up...
A little something called..
Humidity

You see Humidity and I don't see eye to eye.
So I have one last request and that is to take him with you.
Please?!?!

Side note:
School has started back up for Mr. Reed and I both. We are hanging on (by a string). Summer was great and relaxing. Getting back into the swing of things is hard work.
