First stop of the trip: Cracker barrel were we thought we lost our
rental car keys only to realize they were in my purse the whole time!
Love this face! |
And the time has come to drop off daddy...
And he is off.... |
We then found a hotel, and on Sunday went to church. The ward we attended was right beside the Atalanta Georgia Temple! The gates were closed so we could not go inside but here is a snap shot through the bars.
We picked up Scott in Helen Ga after 11,000 feet of climbing, a worn brake pad, and a sore knee he ended the ride. We are very proud of him and amazed what he did accomplish on his first trip.. We then traveled to Rome, GA to meet Grandma and Grandpa Reed...
While in Rome we visited Berry College. This was a suggestion from the lady at the Hotel. This place is massive and beautiful!! |
We enjoyed our mini vacation and arrived home safely. Thanks for the support!!

So is it common for brake pads to wear out in these kinds of races? Do people bring their own repair parts?
